Proof That Bush Lied About Saddam's Capture It seems that photos showing U.S. discovery of Saddam's "spider hole" were actually taken last summer or early fall. We found the original photos, and there's no question. The Palm Trees have ripening dates on them. If it happened in December, as Bush claims, the trees would have been bare.
